There are also good things.
#1 Taylor Sheridan is back with a script
There’s no “Sicario” without Taylor Sheridan. He emerged with this story and followed up with two consistently great scenarios.
He’s a gifted screenwriter and if everything else fails, I’m pretty sure the script will still be tight.
#2 New people on board are not a random ensemble
The new crew behind the sequel of “Sicario” looks strong too.
Dariusz Wolski will be in charge of the cinematography. No need to introduce this man, is there?
Stefano Sollima – the director of “Sicario: Day Of The Soldado” is not a turkey either. Sollima is the man behind the thriller TV series “Gomorra”.
The score will be in hands of Hildur Guðnadóttir, who was a part of music department on sets of “The Revenant”, “Arrival”, “Sicario” and “Prisoners”. The guy probably knows the drill.
#3 It’s still “Sicario”
I can be a hater, but seeing Alejandro kick ass on the screen again will be cool.
Sicario will hi the cinemas in June this year.
Here’s a trailer of “Sicario: Day Of The Soldado”.
